Custodianship Program / Emergency Datashare Victoria initiative

Emergency Datashare Victoria (EDV)

The aim of EDV is for the Victorian Government to obtain the location of water, gas and electricity infrastructure from utilities for the use of Emergency Services such as CFA, MFB, Police, SES and Ambulance.

The reason is to eliminate duplicated effort and to improve access to accurate and current information such as hydrants and power lines.
